This is an example of people not checking their facts and basing their stories off of many different sources. The Liberal government said verbally that a certain program will run until 2016 when in the official document the dates only go as far 2014.

Students will be seen as prominent voters in the May 2 election. Post-Secondary education is becoming more and more important and parties will be looking to campaign to students for votes.

The US and Russia have both stated that they will be going through with disarmament to get rid of their nuclear surplus. The same with all of the countries that are part of the Non Proliferation Treaty. The US backs Israel in all of their military operations and of course backs their right to bear arms.

The US has several times opposed Iran in it’s quest just to get nuclear power. Yet alone weapons. And the reason is that Israel is the only middle eastern country that the states will ever believe in and they have nothing that they want except Land.

The US wants something from all other middle eastern countries, and that is oil for their minivans and SUV’s. And yet Israel has nothing to offer being a small landlocked country. Religion plays a factor in their decision as Muslims and Israel have always been at war. The US just follows it’s idea that they are the perfect model and requires all other countries to conform to their lifestyles.

All these numbers are based on are stats. The one stat that is missing is the emotion. A team may go into a series with the best record in the league. And yet the under achievers has more heart and more of a drive to win. There are frequently upsets every year so proper predictions cannot be taken as accurate.

There will be at least one upset this year that no one called and thought was going to happen. But it is the strength of human emotion that will cause the upset. It could be the Capitals who had the best record in the league not having the motivation to compete or Montreal putting critics aside and achieving greatness.

No one can predict how the playoffs will unravel all we know is it will be a good year. Plenty of surprises and plenty of highlight real goals.

The Canadian government has reduced generic drug cost in half and is cutting $750 000 million in drug production funding. The only people who are going to feel the pinch are major drug stores such as Shoppers and Rexall. And yet the people who are going to save the most money are everyday people such as seniors and students.

This tactic is a good idea to also reduce the deficit it has accumulated. The government is going to be remembered for this and will get the votes back. Seniors make up the largest demographic of voters and they are going to be saving the most money.

This is a good move by the government to raise their own profile and to save the rest of the world money. Money is what it all boils down to and this is just redistributing the wealth that has been collected by people making money.

As far as secondary scoring goes the Sabres have the advantage scoring 35 more goals then the Bruins this season. Although they are still faced with injuries they still have point producers Derek Roy and Thomas Vanek who can easily put up big numbers. Both these players have some playoff experience and will be looking to come back into the playoffs hard.

Rask does not have any playoff experience but the rest of the Bruins were all part of a strong team that destroyed Montreal in the playoffs last season. The Bruin’s have the ability to overtake the Sabres but it all depends if they can break into a win streak which is unlikely.

The Bruins defence is anchored on Zdeno Chara and can be effective in stopping the Sabres. The Bruins also have veteran Marc Recchi.

The Bruins only had one scorer get over 20 goals this season. The Sabres have what it takes to get out of the first round this year and will beat the bruins.

The Flyers are based on an even attack with 13 players contributing over 20 points. The Flyers are a team that does not have a number one starting goalie and they somehow survived by juggling three goalies around. They have been known to take several penalties in games and boasted several players with 100 minutes in the box. With the Devils being a defence minded team the Flyers will get frustrated and take bad penalties. And with no clear number one goalie the goals can just pile up on them.

The Devils have been getting fantastic numbers from Parise and now that they Kovalchuck they have become even stronger with the price coming to their defence. Johhny Oduya was one of the fixtures in creating the strong Devils defence but with him gone there will be added pressure on Brodeur to bear the workload.

The entire series will come down to how long Brodeur can go into the playoffs. If he runs out of gas in the first round the Devils will fall without a strong backup. Brodeur played 77 games this year and the tank must run out.
If the Flyers can solve him they have a chance at the upset but without scoring New Jersey will take them out.

With the Capitals going into the series with a 600:1 odds to win they are going to be riding pretty high. The Capitals have the offense to chase Jaroslav Halak out of the net every game with players such as Alex Ovechkin, Alex Semin and Nicklas Backstrom. They have also have the most offensive defencemen in Mike Green. The only area where the Capitals could have some trouble is in goal tending with former Canadian Jose Theodore.

Alex Ovechkin is coming off another 100 point season where he faced two suspensions for dangerous play. Ovechkin is a point per game player in any circumstance regular season or playoffs and he will continue to dominate against Montreal’s defence. Unless Mike Cammalleri can manage to dig this offence out of the grave Montreal will have trouble scoring. Offense=Washington

Mike Green has come off another amazing season with 76 points where Andrei Markov was the top scoring Canadian with 34 points and missed half the season due to injury. The Canadians have a make shift defence against a strong Washington defence that only got stronger with the addition of Joe Corvo. Defence=Washington

In Goaltending stands Montreals only hope and saviour to win this playoff series. Jaroslav Halak has proven himself this year to be able to take a relentless amount of shots and win the Canadians games. Although many doubts are being placed on Washington’s goaltending with Jose Theodore and Semyon Varlamov. During the season between the both of them they only posted 11 losses and Theodore winning 30 games and Varlamov 15. The Capitals have nothing to worry about with goal tending this year, both goalies have proven themselves able to win games this season. Goal=Washington

The Capitals have all the skills to run away with this series and beat Montreal more than Boston did last year. All they need to do is keep doing what they have done all season. They can lose as many games as their goalies lost for them and they still be able to win the cup. Washington seems to be a lock for the series.
